On the night Don declares it is on\, gather in the Giacomini Wetlands.  Park at 3rd and C Streets in Point Reyes Station and follow the candles along the path to the spot. Spaces not limited. \n “Window of opportunity” = when the sky is the darkest to conduct naked-eye stargazing. \nWhat to bring: \n\nWarm clothes\nChair\, blanket\, sleeping roll\, or sleeping bag\nPrintout of night sky map with names on it – found in Don’s announcements on front page\nFlashlight prepared as in instructions below or red lamp\nYour curiosity\n\nKarl Mondon\, Bay Area News Group\nIf you like\, your donation of $10 or more will benefit DarkSkyWestMarin’s education and outreach program! DESCRIPTION:Professor Joe Mueller. ©Eve Lu\, Peninsula Press 2023 \n{Both nights are SOLD OUT! \nConfirmed registrants meet at the Giacomini Wetlands trailhead (3rd/C St\, Point Reyes Station) on Monday\, April 8\, at 7:00 pm\, College of Marin Biology Professor Joe Mueller will meet with Owl Walk participants at the gate to the Wetlands. Joe will talk for about 20 minutes\, after which will take a loop walk to the barn and back and then ask everyone to drive or carpool to the Bear Valley Vistors Center. (1 Bear Valley Visitor Center Access Road\, 94956). It’s a short drive and would allow more time to call owls. Joe often sees owls at the Vistors Center. \nTo make things run smoothly at the gate\, please donate $25 in advance if you can\, or bring your $25 donation\, exact change\, or a check made out to PRSVA with the notation “DarkSky.”\n\nThere’s a good chance we’ll see or hear owls\, but we’re not able to make any promises. \nUPDATE:   APRIL 8th: session is SOLD OUT. \nYour $25 donation will benefit DarkSkyWestMarin’s education and outreach program!
