1. Help with our monthly or annual events.
2. Help with our Citizen Science project going to towns in West Marin with a Dark Sky leader to measure the amount of light at the apex in the night sky above each post office with a skymeter and document any overly bright lights. Promote the enjoyment and preservation of coastal Marin’s dark skies.
3. Learn how to use a special meter to measure the light under streetlights or outdoor lights.
4. Visit your local representative and encourage them to help Dark Sky West Marin become an International Dark Sky recognized community.
5. Organize a starwatching party.
6. Organize a nightwalk.
7. Help us with paperwork (MS Word/ Excel/ Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator if you know them).
8. Donate any amount you can.
